People of the Bible Bible Class

Each week we look at a different character.  In doing this there is always so much we can learn about our God and our about ourselves.  Recently we have studied Adam, Noah, and Abraham.  Some royal names are coming up – Queen Esther, King Saul and King David.  This Bible class is on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.  In June, because of my vacation and VBS, it will only be on June 12^th and 19^th. 

21^st Century Living Bible Study

Have you ever wondered why you’re not improving?  You read your Bible.  You believe in Christ.  You’re resolved to defeat some sin or failure in your life.  God has promised us strength to overcome – yet it doesn’t seem to be happening!  On Wednesday nights our Bible study has been called, 21^st Century Living.  We have been applying the Scriptures to today’s living.  We have been learning HOW Christ enables us to overcome our sins and failures.  21^st Century Living is on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.  Because of  my vacation and VBS, during June we will only meet on the 11^th and the 18^th.  Please mark these dates on your calendar!

Neighborhood Party

On Saturday, June 21, we are having a neighborhood block party from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  We will have a car wash, craft and bake sale, games for the children, hotdogs and snacks and much, much more.  Come join the fun and help support a cause that really needs our help – the South Brevard County Sharing Center.  Tickets for all food and activities may be purchased for food and cash donations to the South Brevard County Sharing Center. 

Vacation Bible School

VBS is June 23-27, from 9:00 -11:30 each morning.  It’s open to all children ages 4 through grade 6.  It is free, but we do invite donations of food and cash for the Sharing Center.  Please call the church office today to register at 768-1500! 

BIBLES ARE AVAILABLE

I recently purchased a case of 24 Today’s Light Bible at $25.00 each.  I had been picking up used ones when possible, but these are brand new.  Today’s Light Bible is an NIV Bible, but it has introductions and applications for each section that are absolutely the greatest.  Every household needs to have a Today’s Light Bible, even if you already own a Bible or two.  If you would like one of these 24, let me know.  When they run out, I’ll order more.
